Golf Course Architect
Seattle-based golf architect Al Smith was hired in 1927 to lay out Mount Si's original nine-hole course on a 46-acre portion of Meadowbrook Farm. That nine officially opened on July 17, 1927.
In 1933 operator Emmett Jackson again hired Smith to complete the second nine, which opened on July 23, 1933. Smith designed a number of courses in the Puget Sound region from the 1920s into the 1960s.
