Al Smith

Al Smith was a Seattle‑based golf course architect who laid out the original nine holes of Mount Si Golf Course in Snoqualmie in the late 1920s. He was active designing courses across the Puget Sound region from the 1920s through at least the 1960s, with early works including Maplewood Golf Club (established 1927), Wayne Golf Club (around 1930), Brookdale Golf Club (circa 1931), and later projects such as Glendale Golf & Country Club, Twin Lakes Country Club, North Shore Golf Club, and Walter Hall Golf Club.
