Golf Course Architect
Brad Bell (born September 1, 1961, Sacramento, California) is an American former professional golfer who transitioned into golf course architecture. After playing collegiate golf at UC Davis and UCLA—where he was a two‑time All‑American—and stints on the European and PGA Tours, Bell founded Brad Bell Golf Course Design to pursue course creation.
He is best known for designing Coyote Moon Golf Course in Truckee, California, which opened around 2000 and showcases dramatic mountain routing, natural rock features, and the absence of residential development to preserve its Sierra Nevada setting. His design philosophy emphasizes integration with natural landscapes and creating visually striking, challenging play.
