Golf Course Architect
Brian Huntley is an American golf course architect based in Ohio, whose design career spans more than three decades. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture (1986), he worked under Arthur Hills & Associates as a project manager on construction of several notable courses before establishing his own practice.
Over his career, Huntley has been involved in over 125 design and construction projects and has designed more than 30 courses, including Eagle Creek GC (Norwalk, OH), The Quarry GC (Canton, OH), and Carrington Golf Club in Monroe, MI (opened 1998). His work also includes renovations of existing courses such as Walnut Grove CC and Western Hills CC.
Huntley’s style balances traditional strategic elements and walkability, as exemplified by the 6,873‑yard, walker‑friendly Carrington layout.
