He began his involvement in the industry as a young equipment operator assisting established architects like Robbie Robinson, and over time advanced to playing substantial roles in the shaping and construction of over 180 golf courses across Canada.
His work bridges historic Golden Era traditions with modern course-building methods, emphasizing affordability and enjoyment for everyday players. Notably, he executed a major redesign of Lowville Golf Club in Ontario in 1998, transforming it into a scenic and playable public venue.
