Golf Course Architect
Dana Fry is an American golf course architect known for his emphasis on environmental stewardship and sustainability in design. He began his career in construction and shaping with Tom Fazio before deepening his ecological design approach while working alongside Dr.
Michael Hurdzan. Fry became a partner in Hurdzan‑Fry Environmental Golf Design in 1997 and contributed to the original design of FarmLinks Golf Club at Pursell Farms in Sylacauga, Alabama.
After the partnership dissolved in 2012, he co‑founded Fry/Straka Global Golf Course Design, continuing to prioritize ecological features across global projects.
