Golf Course Architect
George T. Hansen was a Milwaukee County parks professional who, while serving as Superintendent of Parks in the 1920s, designed several public golf courses in the county.
Among his work, he created Brown Deer Park Golf Course (opened in 1929), as well as courses at Whitnall, Currie, Grant, and Greenfield Parks. Though his work as a developer and parks administrator is documented, little else appears available about his life or career beyond those responsibilities and his design contributions.
