Golf Course Architect
Ken Elkin was a South African PGA professional, notably at Mowbray Golf Club, who used his playing and club‑pro experience to design and assist on many Western Cape courses, including the original 18‑hole layout of Durbanville Golf Club in the late 1960s and early 1970s. He guided routing plans and practical shaping in collaboration with club members, contributing to over 40 courses in the region in a hands‑on, member‑centred process.
