Richard Ellis is a Dallas-area golf professional who is credited as the designer of Plantation Golf Club (also known as Plantation Resort Golf Club) in Frisco, Texas, which opened in 1988. He later oversaw a significant renovation in 2003 that involved updating the greens, bunkers, clubhouse, and reversing the front and back nines to improve pace of play.
