Roger G. , serving as his longtime lead associate before launching his own firm in 1995.
He then designed his first solo layout, Ballyowen Golf Club in New Jersey, opening in 1998, and went on to work on more than 125 courses, including renovation projects at the Yale Golf Course and contributions to the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Rulewich’s design style blends classic shot values and playability with dramatic use of terrain, such as quarry features, sweeping greens, and bold bunkering—elements evident at Ballyowen and reflective of his Trent Jones heritage.
He has served as president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects and is recognized for his hands‑on, site‑specific design approach.
