Stephen L. Halsey is a licensed California landscape architect (ASLA, RLA) and golf course architect, serving as president of Halsey Design Group (Halsey Daray Golf).
S. in Environmental Design & Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona (1969) and advanced studies at UC San Diego.
His firm redesigned Poplar Creek Golf Course in San Mateo, leading the 1999–2000 renovation alongside Jack Daray Jr. and earning a First‑Place Honor Award in 2001 from the California Park & Recreation Society for that project.
