Golf Course Architect
Steve Wenzloff is a seasoned golf course architect and design liaison with over three decades of experience, primarily working within the PGA TOUR’s Design Services. He began as a design liaison for new Tournament Players Club (TPC) facilities and later served as Senior Vice President of Design Services & Player Liaison, leading renovations and competitive enhancements at numerous championship venues, including TPC Sawgrass in collaboration with Pete Dye.
In late 2025 he launched his own firm, Steve Wenzloff Design. His design expertise spans a wide range of high‑level venues—from THE PLAYERS Championship’s Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass to Olympic golf venues and Presidents Cup sites worldwide.
Wenzloff is noted for integrating agronomic insight into his architectural work, holding a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia, and bringing a strategic, competitive, and stewardship‑oriented approach to course design and renovation.
