South Tyrolean golf architect Wilfried Moroder was appointed to prepare a staged modernisation of Carezza. EIGCA announced the commission in 2014, and Golf & Country South Tyrol describes subsequent work and a second-phase redesign plan centred on modernising holes, tees, greens, safety and landscaping.
