Ashburnham Golf Club is an 18-hole links at Burry Port on the Carmarthenshire coast. The club was founded in 1894, while the foundation of the present routing is the redesign undertaken by five-time Open champion J. H.
Taylor in 1910. The current Blue course measures 7,008 yards, plays to par 72 and has a course rating of 74.1 and slope of 134. Other rated courses include White at 6,660 yards, Yellow at 6,243 yards and Red at 5,539 yards, with separate men's and women's ratings where applicable.

Golf began at Ashburnham in 1894. During the club's early development the course attracted leading figures from the formative era of professional golf, including Harry Vardon and James Braid.
J. H. Taylor visited in 1910 to recommend substantial alterations.
The club describes the course played today as basically Taylor's layout, making his intervention the defining architectural stage in Ashburnham's development.
Ashburnham developed a national competitive reputation. Dai Rees won the PGA Championship there in 1959, and the course has subsequently hosted significant amateur and Welsh championship golf.
The club remains an 18-hole links with a current championship measurement of 7,008 yards. Visitors are welcomed throughout the week, with 18-hole and 36-hole rates published seasonally.
