Asoufid Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 desert-style course southwest of Marrakech. Scottish former European Tour player Niall Cameron designed the layout, which opened in 2014 and measures approximately 6,439 metres from the back tees. The course was developed to work with the arid landscape and minimise water consumption, retaining and transplanting extensive olive vegetation alongside palms and native desert planting.
Its setting provides views toward the Atlas Mountains. The 14th is a strategically distinctive par 5 with alternative fairway lines, while the 17th is a downhill par 3 across a natural canyon; both features are documented in golf-tourism coverage rather than inferred. Published course information gives a men's slope of 133.
The course is an 18-hole desert golf course. It plays to par 72, 6,439m (7,041 yards), slope rating 133. Designed by Niall Cameron, the course originally opened in 2014. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving range, Putting green, Short-game area, Pro shop, Restaurant, Golf carts, Electric trolleys, Pull trolleys, and 2 more.
Asoufid was developed on arid land outside Marrakech and opened in 2014, with former European Tour player Niall Cameron responsible for the design.
Cameron's routing was conceived around the existing desert terrain and an explicit goal of reducing water consumption. Olive and palm vegetation was integrated into the project rather than creating a uniformly irrigated landscape.
Asoufid has received international golf-travel attention and awards since opening and is regularly included among Marrakech's leading courses.
The course remains an 18-hole visitor golf facility with a complete practice and clubhouse operation.
