Aspen Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal course approximately two miles from downtown Aspen, Colorado. The course was designed by Frank Hummel and measures 7,165 yards from its back tees. The City of Aspen describes the layout as parkland in style, with undulating greens and water affecting play on 14 of the 18 holes.
Four sets of tees are provided. The course sits in the Roaring Fork Valley with views toward the Continental Divide and surrounding peaks and ski areas, but its municipal ownership and public access distinguish it from the private and resort clubs elsewhere in the region.
