Blue Ridge Shadows Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 public course in Front Royal, Virginia, designed by Tom Clark of Ault, Clark & Associates and opened in 2007. The current official course information lists five tee markers, ranging from 7,315 yards at the Black tees to 5,006 yards at the Red tees. The Black setup carries a USGA course rating of 75.5 and slope of 143, while the Blue, White, Gold and Red tees provide progressively shorter alternatives.
Clark routed the course across markedly different terrain: wooded higher ground influences the opening nine, while elevation changes and lower ground around Crooked Run shape much of the inward half. The practice complex includes grass tees, a putting green and a combined chipping and bunker area. The club operates as a daily-fee/public facility and offers online tee-time reservations.

Blue Ridge Shadows was created as a daily-fee course near Front Royal and Interstate 66. Ault, Clark & Associates identifies Tom Clark as its designer and records the course opening in 2007.
Clark used the property's changes in elevation and terrain rather than imposing a uniform character across the site. The front nine moves through hardwood forest on higher portions of the property, while the back nine repeatedly transitions between floodplain and elevated ground. The current course also includes split fairways and double-green features.
The course opened in 2007 with multiple teeing options intended to accommodate a broad range of golfers. Its practice complex was developed with grass tees, putting and short-game areas.
Ault, Clark & Associates records that Blue Ridge Shadows was ranked No. 6 nationally in Golf Digest's Best New Affordable category after opening.
