Catalina Island Golf Course is located in California, United States. It features a par of 32 and is the oldest operating course west of the Mississippi. Originally built in 1892 as a three-hole course, it has since expanded to a 2,100-yard, nine-hole layout with five Par 4s and four Par 3s.
The course was brought back to its current nine-hole configuration in 1945. It meanders through a canyon setting toward the ocean, providing views of Avalon Bay and the Casino. The course includes small greens and deep bunkers, presenting a challenge to players.
