Beijing CBD International Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course at 99 Gaobeidian Road in Chaoyang District, east of central Beijing. Development began with a groundbreaking on 1 March 2002, and the course entered operation in April 2005. American golf architect Brit Stenson designed the layout in a Tournament Players Club-style format.
The club's own CBD Open site publishes a course rating of 75.7 and slope rating of 149. Published sources disagree slightly on maximum course length, reporting 7,299 and 7,321 yards, so a single length has not been imposed here. The property includes a clubhouse, driving range and practice facilities, and published facility information also lists a pro shop, restaurants, cafe, bar, meeting rooms, changing facilities, swimming pool and gym.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 72, course rating 75.7 and slope rating 149. Designed by Brit Stenson, the course originally opened in 2005. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Clubhouse, Pro Shop, Restaurant, Cafe, Bar, Meeting Rooms, Changing Rooms, and 2 more.
The golf development was undertaken by Beijing Oriental Hongming Central Business District Sports Center Co., Ltd., a subsidiary associated with Hong Kong's Oriental Hongming group. Construction formally began with a groundbreaking on 1 March 2002 on a site east of Beijing's central business district.
Brit Stenson designed the course around a Tournament Players Club-style concept intended for championship tournament use. Published descriptions consistently identify the layout as an 18-hole international-standard course accompanied by practice and clubhouse infrastructure.
The course formally began operations in April 2005. The overall project included the 18-hole golf course, clubhouse, driving range and associated development.
The club became a national tournament venue when it hosted the Volvo China Open in 2008 and again in 2009. The club later established the CBD Open tournament programme in 2018, incorporating junior, amateur and professional competition.
The club remains at 99 Gaobeidian Road in Beijing's Chaoyang District. Its CBD Open organisation continues to identify Beijing CBD International Golf Club as its host venue.
