Chi Chi - The Golf Venue is a public golf-entertainment facility at Noorderpark in Utrecht. The venue combines a 9-hole par-3 course with a large driving range equipped with Inrange ball-tracking technology, entertainment bays, professional teaching studios and short-game practice areas. The outdoor course is promoted as being open throughout the year and is used both for independent play and instruction, including the venue's two-day GVB programme.
Chi Chi describes itself specifically as not being a conventional golf club: the facility is intended to make golf accessible without the traditional club structure or dress-code emphasis. Its golf operation is supplemented by the Chi Chi Academy, a putting/chipping green and equipment availability for learners. The site also contains a bar, restaurant, terrace and event and meeting spaces.
The course is a 9-hole golf course. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include 9-hole par-3 course, Driving Range, Inrange Ball Tracking, Entertainment Bays, Golf Academy, Pro Studios, Putting Green, Chipping Green, and 5 more.
Chi Chi was developed as a modern golf-entertainment concept rather than a conventional members' golf club. The project was realised around 2023-24 at Noorderpark in Utrecht, combining golf practice, entertainment technology and hospitality in one facility.
The concept deliberately lowers the traditional barriers to golf. Its 9-hole par-3 course provides an introduction to on-course play, while the driving range uses Inrange tracking for both practice and game formats. The venue's GVB programme uses both the par-3 course and range technology to introduce new golfers to technique, etiquette, rules and on-course play.
The completed venue incorporates dozens of driving-range bays, professional teaching studios, practice areas, a 9-hole par-3 course and extensive hospitality and event facilities.
Chi Chi operates as an open-access golf and entertainment facility rather than a traditional golf club. The course, practice facilities, academy, restaurant and entertainment bays form separate but integrated parts of the operation.
