Ava is shorter than the Dufferin and places greater emphasis on accuracy through the wooded and heathland setting. Its par-70 routing includes a mixture of compact par fours, four par threes on the back nine and three par fives.
The club reports that Golf World has recognised the Ava among its most enjoyable courses to play in the UK.
