This record refers specifically to the Ian Woosnam Course at Dale Hill Hotel & Golf Club in Ticehurst, East Sussex. Dale Hill operates two separate 18-hole layouts, so statistics from the Ian Woosnam Course and the older Dale Hill Course should not be combined. The Woosnam Course opened in 1997 and was designed by Masters champion and former Ryder Cup captain Ian Woosnam.
It is an 18-hole, par-71 parkland course measuring 6,512 yards from the White tees. The current White rating is 72.8 with a slope of 138; Yellow measures 6,032 yards at 70.4/131, while the women's Red layout measures 5,200 yards at 71.9/130. The course has hosted the PGA Southern Professional Championship.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 71, 6,512 yards, course rating 72.8 and slope rating 138. Designed by Ian Woosnam, the course originally opened in 1997. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Putting Green, Chipping Area, Golf Lessons, Golf Cart Rental, Restaurant, Bar, Hotel.
Dale Hill's original golf course predates the Woosnam layout. Expansion of the golf operation eventually led to construction of a second 18-hole course designed by Ian Woosnam.
The Ian Woosnam Course opened in 1997. It became Dale Hill's championship layout while the older course continued to operate separately.
The Woosnam Course has hosted the PGA Southern Professional Championship and is independently rated under the World Handicap System.
The golf operation forms part of Dale Hill Hotel & Golf Club, which combines two 18-hole courses with practice facilities, hotel accommodation and dining.
