Dartford Golf Club is an 18-hole members' golf course in Kent, England, established in 1897. The course occupies gently undulating parkland and heathland terrain with tree-lined fairways and relatively small greens. Five-time Open Championship winner James Braid redesigned the layout in 1936.
The men's White tees measure 5,909 yards and play to par 69, with a course rating of 69.2 and slope of 119. The Yellow tees measure 5,718 yards, while the women's Red tees measure 5,333 yards and play to par 71. The 16th hole is officially named Braid and measures 245 yards from the men's White tees, playing as a par three to an elevated green.

Golf at Dartford began in 1897 on heathland in northwest Kent. The course developed among the communities of Dartford, Bexley, Wilmington and Swanley, providing organised golf in an area increasingly connected with London. Its early establishment preceded the involvement of the architect most closely associated with its present design.
James Braid redesigned the course in 1936. The resulting layout emphasises positional accuracy rather than maximum distance. Tree-lined fairways, relatively small greens and changes in elevation provide the principal challenges.
The 16th hole, named Braid, is a particularly clear example: the official scorecard identifies a 245-yard par three from the White tees, played to an elevated green.
The 1936 redesign is the principal documented architectural milestone. Braid's involvement connected Dartford with a wider collection of British courses designed or revised by the five-time Open Champion. The clubhouse was modernised in 2007, updating the club's dining and social facilities while retaining its established members' club character.
Dartford Golf Club remains a member-owned golf club. Its official scorecard records an 18-hole, par-69 course measuring 5,909 yards from the men's White tees. The club provides visitor arrangements, professional services and clubhouse facilities.
