Origins

The club dates its golf history to 1973. Its own current account describes the facility as beginning as a nine-hole course in the Hoeksche Waard.

Development

The property later expanded beyond the original nine holes with a separate six-hole par-3 course and a modern clubhouse. A later operational transition led to the present De Strijensche Golfclub identity. Since 2016 the club has participated in the GolfAlliantie, allowing qualifying members reciprocal play at other affiliated nine-hole clubs.

Today

The current facility totals 15 physical holes but operates the nine-hole main course and six-hole par-3 course separately. Main-course visitors can book nine or 18 holes, with 18-hole play requiring two start times. The driving range is open around the clock.
