Elbow Springs Golf Club is a semi-private 27-hole facility west of Calgary, Alberta. Its golf is divided among three nine-hole courses: Mountain View, Elbow and Springs. Because players combine different nines into an 18-hole round, the property does not have one meaningful course-wide yardage, rating or slope.
The Mountain View/Elbow combination, for example, measures 6,863 yards from the Black tees, while Mountain View/Springs measures 6,790 yards. The club describes Mountain View as the original opening nine, with relatively generous driving areas and water affecting three holes. The facility occupies the Elbow River Valley and includes practice areas, a clubhouse and lounge.
The course is a 27-hole parkland golf course. Designed by Ron Ehlert, the course originally opened in 1995. It is semi-private, welcoming both members and visitors. On-site facilities include Practice Facilities, Clubhouse, Lounge, Restaurant.
