Elmgreen Golf Club is an 18-hole public parkland course in Castleknock, Dublin, designed by Irish golf architect Eddie Hackett and opened in 1995 as Fingal County Council's first municipal golf scheme. The club's own course guide lists the course at par 70 over 5,807 yards, set across roughly 110 acres near the M50 with tree-lined fairways and views of the Dublin Mountains (other published scorecards list slightly different yardages). Alongside the main course, the site includes a separate 18-hole pitch-and-putt course and a floodlit driving range.
In 2016-2017, golf management company Carr Golf took over course maintenance and operations and carried out roughly €1 million in investment, including new locker rooms, a new restaurant and bar, and agronomy upgrades. The club states it has hosted close to two million rounds since opening, making it one of Ireland's larger public golf facilities. It operates on a pay-and-play basis with membership also available, plus a pro shop and resident PGA coaching staff.

Elmgreen opened in 1995 as the first golf scheme undertaken by Fingal County Council, built on roughly 110 acres of land off the M50 near Castleknock in Dublin. The course was designed by Eddie Hackett, one of the most prolific golf architects working in Ireland during the 20th century. The site was developed as a broader public golf facility rather than a traditional members' club, and alongside the 18-hole course it included a separate 18-hole pitch-and-putt course and a floodlit driving range from early on.
In October 2016, golf management company Carr Golf was appointed as maintenance contractor for the course. Over the following year it carried out approximately €1 million of investment across the facility, including new men's and women's locker rooms, a new restaurant and bar, upgrades to the driving range, and increased spending on course agronomy. A bar on site, Gerry's Bar, was named in memory of Carr Golf co-founder Gerry Carr.
The club states it has hosted close to two million golfers since opening in 1995.
Elmgreen continues to operate as a public pay-and-play facility under Fingal County Council ownership, with Carr Golf managing day-to-day operations. It offers the 18-hole parkland course, a separate 18-hole pitch-and-putt course, a floodlit driving range, a pro shop, and membership options alongside daily green fees.
