Evergreen Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-69 executive municipal course operated by Denver Golf in Evergreen, Colorado. It sits at approximately 7,220 feet above sea level along Bear Creek and is characterised by rolling mountain terrain and pine-lined playing corridors. The course is public and forms part of the City of Denver golf system; it is not simply a driving range, as the existing database classification suggests.
Denver Golf's historical account traces golf on the Dedisse Ranch property to 1925, with a major redesign and reopening in 1983 associated with Babe Lind. The present facility includes a putting green, pro shop, rental club sets and Syd's On The Green restaurant. Historical reporting describes the original course as nine holes, with Jacques Benedict sometimes associated with the early design, although that attribution is not sufficiently firm to store as the architect credit.
A major transformation took place under Babe Lind, leading to a redesigned course that reopened in June 1983. That work helped establish the modern 18-hole executive layout and its identity within Denver's municipal golf system.
