Fawn Meadows Golf and Country Club is a public nine-hole course in Delburne, Alberta, about 30 minutes east of Red Deer. The Delburne and District Golf and Recreation Society was formed in 1993, Bill Shaw of Red Deer was hired to design the course, and construction began in 1994 with Albers Construction carrying out the build. The course was completed and opened to the public in 1995.
A secondary current scorecard lists the Black tees at 3,198 yards, par 36, with a 35.7 course rating and slope of 121. Ray Albers operated Fawn Meadows until his retirement after the 2006 season, when the Society assumed operations. The facility includes a pro shop, licensed restaurant, practice facilities, tournament space and camping.
The course is a 9-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 36, 3,198 yards, course rating 35.7 and slope rating 121. Designed by Bill Shaw, the course originally opened in 1995. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Pro Shop, Restaurant, Practice Facility, Tournament Tent, Camping.
The Delburne and District Golf and Recreation Society was formed in 1993 by local volunteers. Bill Shaw of Red Deer was commissioned to design the course and Albers Construction began building it in 1994.
Construction was completed in 1995 and Fawn Meadows opened to public play. Ray Albers operated the facility through the end of the 2006 season. Following his retirement, the Delburne and District Golf and Recreation Society took over the operation.
Fawn Meadows remains a public nine-hole golf course with memberships, daily green fees, restaurant service, practice facilities, events and camping.
