Fogg Brook Resort is an 18-hole public golf course in Palmyra, Maine, part of a combined golf, campground, and RV resort in Somerset County. The par-72 layout plays roughly 6,550 yards from the back markers and offers five tee options (Black, Blue, White, Gold, and Red) to suit different playing levels, with bluegrass fairways and bentgrass greens across a walkable routing. The course was originally built in 1952 as Palmyra Golf Course and Campground and was owned and operated by the Cayer family for decades before being sold in the early 2020s to Randall Anderson, who renamed the property Fogg Brook Resort after the brook running through the land. The club has since undergone renovation work, and Maine golf association listings note the course played differently before 2022.
Golf amenities include a grass-tee driving range, a chipping and putting practice area, and a pro shop. Foggy's Pub serves food and drinks on-site, and the broader resort includes RV and tent campsites, cabins and lodge suites, wooded trails, and a swimming pool. The course is walkable or available by cart, and tee times are booked online rather than through a fixed printed rate sheet, as the operator uses demand-based pricing. Golf staff include a PGA head professional and a course superintendent responsible for year-round maintenance, including recent tree-clearing work aimed at improving playing conditions.

Golf in Palmyra dates back to 1952, when the Cayer family built a course on land along a small tributary in Somerset County and began operating it as Palmyra Golf Course and Campground. For close to seventy years, the family ran both the course and an adjoining campground as a single operation, building what the property's current owner has described as "a fun and challenging course, a clean and well-appointed campground and a good atmosphere" with a loyal local following.
The layout is a walkable, par-72 routing of roughly 6,550 yards with bluegrass fairways and bentgrass greens, built more for approachable daily-fee play than championship difficulty. Five tee markers — Black, Blue, White, Gold, and Red — spread the course from just over 5,300 yards up to the back tees, letting the same holes serve a wide range of ability levels rather than a single set of championship tees.
The Cayer family sold the course and campground in the early 2020s to Randall Anderson, a Wyoming native who had settled in Maine and, in 2017, left corporate call-center management to buy The Meadows Golf Club in Litchfield. Anderson renamed the Palmyra property Fogg Brook Resort and began a round of course and grounds improvements; Maine's state golf association has since noted on its course listing that the layout "is not the same course you played prior to 2022." Recent work publicized by the club has included tree clearing along the course to improve turf conditions and the addition of robotic mowers to the maintenance program.
Fogg Brook Resort now operates as a combined golf, camping, and dining destination. The golf side is run by a PGA head professional alongside a course superintendent, with a grass-tee driving range and a chipping and putting practice area supporting the 18 holes. Foggy's Pub anchors the food and drink side of the property, while the resort's campground and RV sites, cabins, lodge suites, wooded trails, and pool extend the business well beyond the course itself.
