Georgia Southern University Golf Course is an 18-hole public course operated by the university's campus recreation department in Statesboro, Georgia. The current layout opened on 1 October 2013, designed by Robert Walker, ASGCA, on the grounds of the former Southern Links Golf Course — an earlier 1985 design by Arthur Davis that closed in 2009. Water comes into play on 11 of the 18 holes, backed by 53 bunkers positioned around the fairways and greens.
The course plays to a par of 72 across six tees, from 5,304 yards at the forward Light Blue markers to 6,850 yards from the Navy tips (course rating 73.2, slope 134), giving golfers of every ability a genuinely appropriate test. A six-tee practice range with six hitting stations sits alongside the course for warm-up and lesson use.
