Gifford Golf Club is a nine-hole parkland course near Gifford in East Lothian. The course opened in 1904 on land gifted to the parish by the 11th Marquess of Tweeddale and was designed by Willie Wyatt of Royal Epsom. It occupies gently undulating ground framed by mature woodland, farmland and the Lammermuir Hills.
The Speedy Burn crosses or borders several holes and is one of the principal natural features affecting play. Although the physical course has nine greens, a full 18-hole round uses alternative tee positions on parts of the second circuit, changing the playing angles and lengths. The club continues to make incremental alterations to tees and bunkers rather than having undergone a wholesale modern redesign.
