Gleddoch Golf and Spa Resort operates an 18-hole course on the Gleddoch estate at Old Greenock Road, Langbank, Renfrewshire. Golf architect J. Hamilton Stutt designed the original nine-hole layout in 1974, and the course was soon extended to 18 holes.
European Tour player Brian Barnes marked the official opening in 1975. The resort's own history records a par of 72 in modern competition, including Martyn Paton's course-record 68 in September 2020. Gleddoch hosted the Carlsberg Open on the Ladies European Tour in 1980, when amateur Wilma Aitken won, and Seve Ballesteros appeared at a corporate golf day in 1985.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. Designed by J. Hamilton Stutt, the course originally opened in 1975. It is open to resort guests. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Practice Ground, Academy Course, Pro Shop, Golf Lessons, Club Hire, Trolley Hire, Restaurant, and 5 more.
Golf became part of the Gleddoch estate when J. Hamilton Stutt designed a nine-hole course in 1974. The routing was quickly expanded with a second nine, referred to by the resort as the top half.
European Tour professional Brian Barnes marked the official opening in 1975. The course subsequently became established as the principal golf amenity of the Gleddoch hotel estate.
The Carlsberg Open on the Ladies European Tour was played at Gleddoch in 1980. Seve Ballesteros later hosted a corporate golf day at the course in 1985.
Gleddoch operates as a resort course with visitor green fees, memberships, an academy course, practice facilities, professional instruction and equipment hire.
