Ted Parslow subsequently redesigned the Valley Course. Glenmarie was developed on the former Glenmarie Rubber Estate and formally opened in the early 1990s. The Garden Course hosted the inaugural EurAsia Cup in 2014.

Glenmarie was developed on the former Glenmarie Rubber Estate as a major 36-hole golf and country-club project in Shah Alam.
Max Wexler created two separate par-72 courses with contrasting identities. The Garden uses more generous landing areas and extensive landscaping, while the Valley developed as the more demanding tournament-oriented layout.
Ted Parslow later reworked the Valley Course. The facility has continued to evolve alongside adjoining hotel development.
The Garden Course hosted the inaugural EurAsia Cup between Europe and Asia in 2014.
Glenmarie operates as a proprietary private membership club with two 18-hole courses and extensive practice, hospitality and recreational infrastructure.
