Golf Club Curau is an 18-hole golf club in Schleswig-Holstein near Lübeck. The main Blue/Red Course is par 72 and a reliable current course reference lists the Yellow men's tees at 5,989 metres with a course rating of 71.0 and slope of 130, while the Red women's course is 5,331 metres at 73.2/131. The club was founded in 1998 and states that its golf property has been operated under Bioland organic-farming standards from the beginning, without herbicides, fungicides or insecticides and in cooperation with nature-conservation organisations.
In addition to the rated 18-hole course, Curau operates a separate five-hole short course that can be played without a formal German Platzreife. The main course is available to visiting golfers with a recognised DGV card. Current 2026 summer green fees vary between Monday-Thursday and Friday/weekend periods, with early-bird and sundowner discounts.

Golf Club Curau dates its founding to 1998. From the beginning, the club says the property was managed according to Bioland rules rather than conventional intensive golf-course turf practices.
The course follows the gently undulating Holstein landscape and combines elevated greens, bunkering and water with rough and natural areas.
A secondary golf-course guide dates the current 18-hole Blue/Red configuration to 2010, suggesting that the original facility was subsequently expanded or reconfigured. The club also operates a separate five-hole short course.
The club's ecological management is a defining feature, including the avoidance of herbicides, fungicides and insecticides and cooperation with conservation organisations.
Curau welcomes visiting golfers on the main course subject to recognised golf credentials and advance tee-time booking, while the five-hole short course is open without a formal playing licence.
