Aschaffenburger Golfclub is based at Hösbach in Bavaria and operates an 18-hole championship course together with a six-hole public academy course. The club was founded in 1977 after a group led by Ernst Brönner and Dr Wolfgang Reuss began searching for suitable land. Construction started in 1980 after permission was secured for an initial nine-hole course.
Expansion eventually produced the present 18-hole layout, officially inaugurated on 1 June 2000. The men's card measures 5,436 metres at par 71 with a course rating of 70.2 and slope of 130; the women's card is 4,737 metres, par 71, rated 71.6/124. The academy course measures 548 metres over six par-three holes and is available without normal club membership.

Aschaffenburger Golfclub was formed in 1977. After a lengthy search, the club secured land around Feldkahl and Rottenberg in Hösbach. Approval for a full 18-hole development was initially difficult, so permission was obtained for nine holes in 1980.
Construction began in November 1980. The club later expanded the course, with planning approval for the enlargement recorded in 1999 and the completed 18-hole course inaugurated on 1 June 2000.
The club now operates the 18-hole championship course and a public six-hole academy course, supported by extensive practice and clubhouse facilities.
