Hartland Forest Golf Club is an 18-hole golf property in North Devon that is currently closed while a comprehensive course reconstruction is carried out. The club states that the course was originally built in 1994. Renovation work has been underway since 2021 and is substantially more extensive than routine maintenance: greens are being rebuilt, new greens and tees are being created, drainage is being installed, lakes and ponds are being enlarged and additional trees are being planted.
The club describes the property as having rolling fairways among pine trees and gorse. The site is also associated with privately owned holiday lodges, but golf access for lodge owners and rental guests depends on the individual lodge's facilities arrangement. Because the course remains under reconstruction, historic yardages and ratings should not be treated as representing the eventual reopened layout.

Major reconstruction has been underway since 2021. Club material describes fifteen existing greens being rebuilt from scratch and three new greens being added to restore the full 18-hole course. The project also includes new tees, extensive drainage, expanded lakes and ponds and additional tree planting.
The golf course remains closed during renovation. Access arrangements after reopening are expected to include eligible lodge owners and guests, while local golfers are intended to receive promotional access during the opening period.
