About Heritage Springs Golf Course

Heritage Springs Golf Course is the private 18-hole course within the Heritage Springs residential community in Trinity, Florida. The par-71 layout was designed by Florida architect Ron Garl and opened in 2000. Heritage Springs' official golf information describes six sets of tees ranging from approximately 3,900 to 6,024 yards, allowing the same routing to be played at substantially different lengths.

The course winds through the residential development and uses Bermuda-grass fairways with Mini-Verde Ultra Dwarf putting greens. More than 60 bunkers are incorporated into the layout, while ponds and waterways affect play on 17 of the 18 holes. Access is private: the course is for Heritage Springs residents and their guests, and home ownership includes equity ownership in the golf operation.

The course is an 18-hole golf course. It plays to par 71, 5,508m (6,024 yards). Designed by Ron Garl, the course originally opened in 2000. It is open to members and their guests. On-site facilities include Pro Shop, Practice Facilities, Clubhouse, Restaurant, Sports Lounge, Terrace.

Origins

Heritage Springs was created as a residential community with golf as one of its central amenities. Ron Garl designed the 18-hole course, which the community states opened in 2000.

Design Philosophy

Garl's routing passes through the residential property while using water as a recurring strategic element. Heritage Springs says ponds or waterways come into play on 17 holes and that more than 60 bunkers are distributed through the course. Six teeing options were incorporated to provide a broad range of playable distances.

Today

The golf course remains a private amenity for Heritage Springs residents and their guests. Residents receive equity ownership in the course through home ownership, distinguishing it from a public daily-fee operation.
