Hinksey Heights Golf Course is an 18-hole public-access championship course at South Hinksey on the edge of Oxford. The club describes the layout as undulating heathland with a links-style character, with elevated ground providing views across Oxford and the Thames Valley. Secondary course records credit David Heads as the architect.
The current Championship Course scorecard plays to par 72 from the White and Yellow tees, with the longest published White setup measuring approximately 6,547 yards; the Red course is par 73 at about 5,479 yards. The wider facility includes a driving range, putting and chipping facilities, a practice bunker, professional instruction, club fitting, a pro shop and food and drink. Hinksey Heights also operates separate shorter golf facilities, including a nine-hole pitch-and-putt course and FootGolf.
The course is an 18-hole heathland golf course. It plays to par 72, 6,547 yards. The course was designed by David Heads. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Putting Green, Chipping Green, Practice Bunker, Pro Shop, Golf Lessons, Club Fitting, Club Hire, and 6 more.
Hinksey Heights was developed on elevated ground immediately south-west of Oxford during the 1990s. Current secondary sources credit David Heads with the Championship Course design, although published opening-year references differ between 1995 and 1996.
The site operates as a visitor-friendly golf facility with the 18-hole Championship Course, extensive practice provision, a short course and FootGolf.
