Hintlesham Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland course near Ipswich in Suffolk. It occupies about 150 acres and was designed by Hawtree & Co, with Walker Cup captain Peter McEvoy modifying the plans in 1989 before the course opened in 1990. The current official scorecard measures 6,573 yards from the White tees, while the WHS course-rating database gives the White course a rating of 71.3 and slope of 125.
Yellow and Red tees provide shorter alternatives. The course is open to visitors as well as members, with current green fees of £70 on weekdays and £80 on weekends, plus a summer twilight rate. Facilities include a pro shop, PGA tuition, buggies, electric and pull trolleys, club hire, changing rooms, bar and dining rooms.
