Innis Arden Golf Club is a private 18-hole, par-70 club in Old Greenwich, Connecticut. Its history reaches back to J. Kennedy Tod's Innis Arden estate at Greenwich Point, where he constructed a nine-hole course before the club was organized by 64 charter members on November 11, 1899.
The organization moved to its present area in 1908 and expanded the course to 18 holes in 1925-26. Robert Trent Jones remodeled the course in 1960, and Ken Dye later led a major renovation completed in 2008. The current course ranges from 5,144 to 6,307 yards, with the Blue tees listed by the USGA at 6,268 yards, a 71.7 Course Rating and 136 Slope Rating.

On-site facilities include Driving Range, Teaching Studio, Short Game Area, Practice Bunker, Putting Green, Golf Simulators, Golf Lessons, Dining, and 4 more.
The Innis Arden story began on the 147-acre Greenwich Point estate assembled by J. Kennedy Tod from 1887 onward. Tod built a 37-room mansion, several outbuildings and a nine-hole golf course, then invited neighbours from what was then called Sound Beach to play.
On November 11, 1899, 64 charter members formally organized Innis Arden Golf Club. After Tod closed his private course to neighbours in 1904, the Sound Beach Golf and Country Club was organized. The club moved onto nine holes at its present Old Greenwich site in 1908 after arranging a lease with the Ferris family.
It later acquired additional Stamford land and expanded to 18 holes in 1925-26. In 1934, Tod's widow permitted the organization to restore the Innis Arden name.
The modern course remains relatively compact, with the club describing five par fours over 400 yards, demanding par threes and several shorter par fours. Robert Trent Jones remodeled the layout in 1960. Ken Dye's later renovation modernized the course while retaining its established routing character.
A major reconstruction and modernization program began in 2004 and culminated with reopening of the renovated course in 2008. Further change followed construction of a new clubhouse beginning in 2021. Holes 1, 9 and 18 and the putting area were redesigned to accommodate the new building, and a short-game area was added beside the 10th tee.
The new clubhouse opened in June 2023.
Innis Arden operates as a private family-oriented club with an 18-hole golf course and extensive practice facilities, alongside tennis, swimming, fitness, bowling and dining facilities.
