Juniper Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 public course in Redmond, Oregon, designed by John Harbottle III. The present course opened on July 2, 2005 after the operation moved from its former Veterans Way site, where golf had been played for more than five decades. Harbottle routed the replacement course through Central Oregon high-desert terrain containing native juniper, sagebrush and lava rock.
The black tees measure 7,186 yards and carry a published rating of 73.9 and slope of 131. Six additional published tee options extend down to the Gold tees at 5,500 yards on the current official ratings table. S.

It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Putting Green, Chipping Green, Practice Bunker, Golf Shop, Restaurant, Lounge, Banquet Room.
Juniper's history predates its present site. The operation spent 54 years at its Veterans Way location and expanded to a full 18 holes there in 1987. A later project created an entirely new course near the Deschutes County Fairgrounds.
John Harbottle III was commissioned as architect, construction began in July 2003 and opening ceremonies for the new course were held on July 2, 2005.
Harbottle used the existing high-desert landscape as a defining part of the routing. Native juniper trees, lava rock and sagebrush frame holes rather than being replaced by a heavily manufactured landscape, while multiple tee combinations allow the same routing to accommodate a broad range of players.
The course's early competitive record included the 2007 and 2010 Oregon Opens and six consecutive years as a U.S. Amateur qualifying venue from 2006 through 2011. The club also records Golf Digest recognition as Oregon's best municipal golf course for 2009-2010.
Juniper remains a public municipal golf facility in Redmond with seven published tee options and extensive practice facilities.
