Landgoed Bergvliet is an 18-hole, par-71 public golf course at Oosterhout in North Brabant. The estate itself has roots extending to the 13th century, but its modern golf use began in 2007 when more than 60 hectares were converted into a course designed by Gerard Jol and Michiel van der Vaart. The longest current White tee measures 6,021 metres, with additional Yellow, Blue, Red and Orange tees reducing the length to 4,118 metres.
The official course description characterizes the terrain as naturally rolling and at times links-like, with woodland edges, open wind-exposed areas and water incorporated into the routing. The facility also has a separate nine-hole par-3 course, driving range, TrackMan Range, putting greens and practice bunker. Landgoed Bergvliet operates as a broader estate destination with restaurant, event facilities and villas.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 71, 6,021m. Designed by Michiel van der Vaart and Gerard Jol, the course originally opened in 2007. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving Range, TrackMan Range, Putting Greens, Practice Bunker, Par-3 Course, Golf Academy, Club Hire, Trolley Rental, and 4 more.
Landgoed Bergvliet had served several uses over its long history before a major change in 2007, when more than 60 hectares of former grazing land were developed for golf.
Gerard Jol and Michiel van der Vaart worked with the existing Brabant landscape, using natural undulation, wooded edges, open windy sections and water while retaining the estate character around the course.
The golf development included the main 18-hole par-71 course, a nine-hole par-3 course and a pavilion complex. The historic Koetshuis was renovated in 2009 for event use, and the practice operation later gained TrackMan Range technology.
Landgoed Bergvliet combines public golf with practice facilities, dining, events and on-estate accommodation.
