Langston Golf Course is located in Washington, District of Columbia, on Benning Road in Northeast DC. This historic 18-hole course was established in 1939 and named after John Mercer Langston, the first African American elected into public office. It serves as a significant site in African American golf heritage and was inducted into the National Black Golf Hall of Fame in 2013.
The course features rolling hills and significant water hazards, with the Tidal Marsh and Anacostia River bordering the back nine. Langston Golf Course also offers a driving range equipped with Toptracer Range technology and is home to Melva's Kitchen, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The facility is recognized for its support of youth and family outreach programs.
On-site facilities include Golf Lessons, Driving Range, Pro Shop.
