Origins

McCormick Woods was built in 1986 from a design by Jack Frei. The routing was developed around the wooded Port Orchard site and its existing lakes and wetland features.

Did You Know?
The current official scorecard gives names to most of the individual holes, including Split Decision, Catcher's Mitt and Triple Plateau.

Design Philosophy

The club states that the course was designed in accordance with Audubon principles and uses the site's fir and cedar woodland, natural lakes and other environmental features as integral parts of the golf landscape.

McCormick Woods is a public course with online daily-fee play and optional annual memberships, supported by practice facilities, a golf shop, restaurant, bar and event spaces.
