Middlefield Golf Course is an 18-hole municipally owned public course in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Gene Mason designed the course, which opened in 1991, and the City of Cottage Grove has owned and operated it since 2006. The Blue tees measure 5,002 yards at par 67 with a course rating of 63.5 and slope of 104.
The Red women's tees measure 4,288 yards and carry a 63.4/103 rating. Middlefield is a comparatively short course with a mixture of par 3s, par 4s and a single par 5 on the back nine. The property uses treated municipal effluent as a major irrigation source, linking golf-course water management with the city's wastewater system.
