Montauk Downs is located in New York, United States. The course was originally developed in 1927 and redesigned by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1968 with assistance from his son, Rees.
It features a championship-length, 18-hole layout that is influenced by the ever-changing wind currents off the ocean and bay. Montauk Downs State Park was purchased by State Parks in 1980 and encompasses 463 acres, which also includes picnic areas, multi-use trails, and recreational facilities. The golf course is a soft spikes only facility.
On-site facilities include Villa, Restaurant.
