Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 coastal links-style course at Natadola Bay on Fiji's Coral Coast. The current official course measures 6,566 metres, or 7,183 yards, and is credited to Fiji-born major champion Vijay Singh. It opened for play in June 2009 in conjunction with the Fijian Open.
The routing uses rolling coastal terrain, substantial elevation changes, bunkering and exposure to Pacific trade winds, with ocean views from much of the course. Natadola has staged the Fiji Open, Nomura Cup, Natadola Bay Fiji Classic and Fiji International. The course is open to resort guests, Fiji residents and other visiting golfers; staying at the neighbouring InterContinental is not required.
The course is an 18-hole links golf course. It plays to par 72, 6,566m (7,183 yards). Designed by Vijay Singh and Heritage Golf, the course originally opened in 2009. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving range, Short game area, Putting green, Chipping green, Pro shop, Locker rooms, Club rental, Golf lessons, and 5 more.
Natadola Bay formed part of a major resort development on Fiji's Coral Coast led by Natadola Bay Resort Ltd, the commercial arm of the Fiji National Provident Fund. Vijay Singh produced the original routing, but a dispute before completion led to his withdrawal from the project. Singapore-based Heritage Golf subsequently completed the design and oversaw construction.
The course officially opened in June 2009 with the Fijian Open.
The routing exploits the site's rolling coastal topography, elevation changes and exposure to Pacific winds. Up to five tee positions per hole provide substantial flexibility. The current course describes itself as links-style rather than a traditional links, with strategic bunkering and numerous elevated and ocean-facing holes.
After the original 2009 opening, Singh eventually returned to Natadola and spearheaded substantial improvements to the layout. Published accounts place significant works in 2016 and 2017. The course continues periodic agronomic renovation, including scheduled greens work in November and December 2026.
Natadola's tournament profile grew through the Fiji International, whose winners at the course included Steven Jeffress, Brandt Snedeker and Gaganjeet Bhullar.
The course is managed alongside InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa but is explicitly open to non-resort guests, Fiji residents and international visitors.
