National Golf Resort is an 18-hole, par-72 course in the Danė River valley outside Klaipėda. The resort identifies David Krause as the golf-course architect and states that the property was constructed and officially opened in 2009. The course is the main championship layout, while a separate three-hole executive course and driving range provide practice facilities.
Wetlands and the Danė River are integrated into the routing, and the 18th green is shaped in the outline of Lithuania. The resort was conceived both as a local golf facility and as a destination capable of attracting golf tourism to western Lithuania. Current visitor pricing is published directly: high-season 18-hole golf from 1 May to 30 September is €79 per person, while the low-season 18-hole rate is €50.
The course is an 18-hole resort golf course. Designed by David Krause, the course originally opened in 2009. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving range, 3-hole executive course, Pro shop, Golf cart rental, Trolley rental, Restaurant, Bar, Accommodation, and 3 more.
The resort was conceived by Arūnas Kuraitis with the dual aim of giving local residents access to golf and creating a golf-tourism destination for western Lithuania.
David Krause routed the championship course through the Danė River valley, incorporating wetlands and the river into the course landscape.
The resort was constructed and officially opened in 2009. In 2014 James Arnold joined Arūnas Kuraitis, initially as a consultant and later as a shareholder and partner, to assist with further development.
National Golf Resort operates an 18-hole par-72 championship course, three-hole executive course, driving range, golf academy, accommodation and food-and-beverage facilities.
