North Foreland Golf Club at Broadstairs operates an 18-hole Main Course on elevated ground above the Kent coast together with the separate Northcliffe short course. The Main Course is the appropriate layout for the primary course record; the Northcliffe course should not be folded into its par, length or scorecard data. The exposed chalk-downland setting gives the Main Course firm, open characteristics and extensive coastal exposure, although it is not a traditional seaside links built on linksland.
The club operates throughout the year and provides practice, coaching and professional services as well as clubhouse dining. Its location close to the North Foreland lighthouse and the English Channel is central to the course's identity and history.
The course is an 18-hole heathland golf course. It is semi-private, welcoming both members and visitors. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Putting Green, Pro Shop, Golf Lessons, Club Fitting, Restaurant, Bar, Membership.
North Foreland developed on high ground at the eastern end of Thanet, close to the lighthouse from which the club takes its name.
The club now operates two distinct layouts: the full-length Main Course and the Northcliffe short course.
Both courses are maintained for year-round play, supported by PGA coaching and clubhouse facilities.
