North Ronaldsay Golf Course is a remote nine-hole links course beside Linklet Bay on North Ronaldsay in Orkney. The North Ronaldsay Trust describes the existing layout as using the natural links beside the bay, with one hole extending to 624 yards. The course is closely associated with the island landscape and its distinctive seaweed-eating North Ronaldsay sheep, which golfers can encounter around the links.
In 2017 the Trust published plans to redesign and expand the course to 18 holes by adding a second nine around Dennis Ness, with views toward Bewan Pier, Bewan Loch, the Old Beacon and the New Lighthouse. That proposal contemplated involving several low-handicap golfers in the new routing. Importantly, the Trust still lists the 18-hole scheme as a project rather than documenting a completed expansion, so the existing course should remain recorded as nine holes unless newer authoritative evidence establishes otherwise.
