About Orange County National Golf Center & Lodge

Orange County National Golf Center & Lodge in Winter Garden is a public multi-course golf complex rather than a single 18-hole course. Its golf inventory consists of the 18-hole Panther Lake and Crooked Cat courses plus the nine-hole Tooth executive course, for 45 holes in total. Panther Lake was the first championship course to open, in 1997, with Crooked Cat following later.

The complex is associated with designers Phil Ritson, Isao Aoki and David Harman. Orange County National also operates an unusually large training operation: the official site identifies a 42-acre practice facility, a 20,000-square-foot lighted putting green and a 25,000-square-foot short-game area. The property includes an on-site lodge.

The course is a 45-hole golf course. Designed by Phil Ritson and David Harman and Isao Aoki, the course originally opened in 1997. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Lodge, Driving Range, Putting Green, Short Game Area, Golf Academy, Pro Shop, Club Hire, Restaurant, and 1 more.

Origins

Orange County National was developed as a large public golf and training centre west of Orlando. Panther Lake opened first in 1997, establishing the core championship facility.

Development

Crooked Cat expanded the property to two full championship courses, while The Tooth added a nine-hole executive option. The practice operation grew into a 42-acre complex with large dedicated putting and short-game areas, and lodging was established on site.

Recognition

The facility has repeatedly been used for professional-tour qualifying and industry events. Crooked Cat hosted LIV Golf Orlando in March 2023.

Today

The complex combines 45 holes, large-scale practice and instruction facilities, a clubhouse and an on-site lodge.
